It is said that an able and willing person can elevate themselves from the lowest depths of human suffering, even a little, to earn an respectful and honest way of life. Then there are those who never had a fighting chance.

 

Victims of the modern capitalist society, domestic violence, abuse, and worse. South East Asia is a beautiful place, both spiritually and literally. However, the children of these countries are the forgotten victims of untold horrors and circumstances.

 

Abandoned, abused, and discarded by parents or guardians alike, they are made to suffer needlessly.

 

Girls are a disproportionately larger percentage of the children abandoned and often subjected to sexual abuse, trafficking, lifetime of poverty, domestic abuse and manual labor.

 

Many children find themselves on the Streets and few are fortunate to be sheltered in orphanages.
